We had a long 2 days of wrestling the past 2 days, but it was worth it due to all 3 of our teams wrestling well.
To all the family and friends of the wrestlers who came to support your child and our team. Your presence & energy was noticed and much appreciated. Both days we had a strong crowd representing our program.

Hydration Test. This is for any wrestler that has not completed their hydration test. He/she will travel to and from the Dr. Office in Carrollton by bus with a coach. The bus will leave VRHS at 4:15 PM. Wrestlers must wear a T-shirt and athletic shorts when getting the test done. If you have any questions contact Coach Laymon.

*As of now, JV does not have anything scheduled for the weekend. I am currently trying to find the JV team a local tournament to attend. If I don’t find anything by Tuesday, I will notify parents and wrestlers on this app.

The hardcopy calendar that I sent out at the beginning of the season has a few changes.

The boy’s team gear should arrive by Thursday of this week. If you have not paid for the team dues or have worked out a payment plan with Coach Laymon, then you will not receive your gear.

We are working concessions at our school this Tuesday Night for the VR Youth Wrestling Match they are hosting. If you are able to help work a shift, please contact Coach Laymon.
