Below is the email I received and information from Southern Therapy about the Hydration Test
Good Afternoon, Coaches. I hope all is well with you. If you do not know me, I am Stephanie Stapleton. I work for Southern Therapy as an athletic trainer, and have replaced Patrick this year as the wrestling assessor. The other athletic trainers who will be assisting with wrestling assessments are Kyle Huff, LAT, ATC, AHAI, PE who is our new Sports Medicine Director at Southern Therapy, and Shelby Byess, LAT, ATC.

This year ALL testing will be done at Southern Therapy’s Carrollton Clinic location, and we are going to try and get everyone done in that first week allowed for assessments starting on October 16. We have already laid out dates and times for each school, which I will list below. If there is a conflict with your school’s date, please let us know within 72 hours of receiving this email.

Upon arrival, athletes will need to have everything on their assessment forms fully filled out (If forms are not fully filled out the wrestler will be required to go to the very back of the line once the form is filled out), have appropriate attire for weighing and be ready to start their hydration tests. Any athlete that fails their hydration test and has to return for a retest must be accompanied by a coach or school representative, not a parent or by themselves. The pricing is still the same as previous years at $10 per athlete; if an athlete fails their first try, they will have to pay another $10 upon retesting. If you have any wrestlers who are currently playing football and are not able to make these dates given, then please let us know so that we can schedule later dates in the testing period for those athletes

Please note that VRHS time slot is set for 4:00PM on October 21st. We will go as a team. More information to come
