All Freshman are invited & STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to compete in the 2022 GHSA Freshman State.

This is an event for all freshmen to compete against all other classifications & High School Freshman Wrestlers throughout Georgia.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Georgia Residents that are Freshman (9th Grade) or 8th graders who are 15 and ineligible to wrestle in kids state. You must have a current and valid USA Wrestling Athlete card to participate.

Weigh In
Weigh-Ins for Freshman State are Sunday February 20, 2022 from 7:00am to 7:30am.

WRESTLING START TIME
Wrestling starts at 8:30am

Spectator Admission
Tickets sold at the Gate.
Adult (12 and over): = $12
Child (3 to 11): = $7
65+ = $10 WITH ID
Child under 3: FREE

- Please let us know if you plan on competing by this Wednesday 2.9.22

- Practice arrangements for the Winter Break will be posted soon.

- Transportation to the tournament can be provided if needed. Please contact Coach Laymon if that might be an issue.

- This is an excellent opportunity for our 9th Grade Wrestlers.
