This is mandatory for all wrestlers. Wrestlers are not allowed to compete until they pass the hydration test.

We are going to take a bus as a team to and from the location.
Our team’s scheduled time slot is from 4:30 -5.
We will leave after school on 10.20.22.
Our Booster club will pay for each wrestler’s hydration test. If a wrestler fails the test then they are responsible to pay for their second test ($20) and provide their own transportation.

We will send out more information about how to prepare for the test a week in advance.

I’m Kristen Peterson and I will be in charge of hydration testing this season. Hydration testing is quickly approaching, so I’d like to go over some guidelines for our testing facility.
The guidelines are as follows:
· Every school attending must bring 2 coaches with them to supervise the team
· Money for wrestlers being tested is due at your scheduled appointment
· Athletes must wear a T-shirt and shorts when being assessed on the scale.
STRIPPING DOWN TO UNDERWEAR IS NOT PERMITTED
The Tanita scales have been programmed with a 2 lb allowance for clothes.
· Retesting for wrestlers who fail can be completed 48 hours later (or at the next scheduled testing date) and will require repayment
· Sign up will be first come, first serve (link for sign up is listed below)
· During the initial testing period (10/15-12/17) cost will be $10/test. Late testing (1/1-1/14) will be $20/test. Any retests during these periods will cost the same as the initial test.
