Hydration Test – This is mandatory for all wrestlers.

We will all ride a bus together to and from the testing location.
All wrestlers are required to be at VRHS no later than 8:00 A.M.
The bus will leave at 8:15 A.M.
Our team’s slot to test is at 9:00 A.M.
Testing usually lasts about 45 minutes.
Once everyone is done, we will all ride the bus back to VRHS.

The hydration test is mandatory for all wrestlers male/female. Wrestlers can not compete in a high school wrestling match until the test is completed.

Athletes must wear a T-shirt and shorts when assessed on the scale. STRIPPING DOWN TO UNDERWEAR IS NOT PERMITTED. The Tanita scales have been programmed with a 2 lb allowance for clothes.

The coaches will go over more critical information pertaining to the hydration test.

If a wrestler cannot attend the test with the team, that wrestler is responsible for completing the test on their own time. It is important that everyone plans ahead and is able to attend.
